What is powder coating?
Powder coating is a dry finishing process used to achieve a smooth and hardened finish that is much more durable than paint.
How are your doors installed?
By us, a preferred installer or licenced builder.
What hardware do you use?
You can choose your own hardware (door handles). Hardware can be discussed in your design consultation to ensure suitability for your chosen door. We do require two sets of hardware (unless we have one in stock), one for manufacture and one for installation. Both sets to be given to MDC prior to manufacture.
What are shop drawings?
Technical design drawings that provide the dimensions and specifications of the product. Shop drawings are used to ensure measurements are accurate. This is why giving correct dimensions and measurements is so important.
Can I request bespoke designs for manufacture?
Yes, you can by calling 0430 650 005 or email.
What colour options are available?
Colours from the Interpon or Dulux ranges.
What types of glazing do you offer?
Clear, reeded, frosted, double glazed and tinted in varying thicknesses.
What is a lead time?
Lead time is the time it takes to manufacture a product. Our lead times vary depending on the complexity and size of the product. All leads times are approximate however, we do our best to stay within lead times.
Can orders be fast tracked?
Yes, within reason however there are charges and it must be approved by Management.
